The clinic is very clean.
Thanks for all you do for our pet.
She would like to say how pleased she is with all of the Doctors at this clinic.
I took my kitten in to get neutered and was told that he needed a fecal test to see if he was positive for a kennel cough. He was no positive for it. He did not stay over night or anything. So in the end I ended up paying almost $200 to get the test, him neutered, and a rabies shot. Plus that night he got really sick, loosing more hair then normal
He started to breath weirdly, cough, sneeze, not eating, or drinking. Not moving around at all and I blame the vet because he was 100% healthy when he was there. I guess the test and paying almost $200 is going to go down the drain! Don't want to take him back and spend more on what they caused! I should have used the other vet instead, would have saved more and he probably wouldn't be sick. My fault I tried something closer to home!
They truly have your pets care as their top priority.
We've gotten three of our cats spayed/ neutered here and have always had professional experiences. The staff are always sweet and cheerful and work amazing with the animals, you can tell they love their job! Great vet to trust your furry family with!
The receptionists are very knowledgeable also.
I had to set up an emergency visit to the Elk County Veterinary Clinic yesterday just before closing of most offices, 4:45 P.M., as my mixed 5- year-old male mixed breed pit/doberman took a bike out of a porcupine. I had called two other clinics previously, and to my relief I was immediately accepted for treatment. The phone receptionist was friendly and understanding. Upon arrival I was greeted by a second assistant who visited with Anders, and after shaking hand/paw, we were shown to a waiting room. I was given an estimate for the cost of the procedure, which is something I have never encountered. About an hour later I picked up Anders, groggy as expected to take home. I was given a thorough fact sheet, list of procedures and drugs and measurements as well as the time it took to perform the operation. Elk Co Veterinary Clinic will be my first consideration from this time forward.
